Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Discova (“Discova,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Discova mobile application and related services (the “Service”).
Discova helps you log foods and symptoms and detect patterns in that data for personal wellness tracking. Insights such as possible food triggers are generated from the information you enter. They are not a medical diagnosis.
Important notice: not medical advice
Discova is a wellness and self-tracking tool. It is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Discova analyzes relationships in your food and symptom logs to surface patterns (for example, foods that often appear near symptoms you logged).
- When Discova indicates a possible food trigger, allergy, or sensitivity, that indication is based on your logged data and our pattern-detection rules. It is not a clinical finding. We cannot say for certain that you have a food allergy, intolerance, or sensitivity.
- Results depend on how completely and accurately you log. Incomplete or incorrect logs can change what patterns appear.
- Always talk with a qualified healthcare provider before making dietary, medical, or treatment decisions, or if you have concerns about symptoms or possible food reactions. Do not ignore professional medical advice because of something you see in Discova.
Additional terms about how you may use Discova are in our Terms of Service.
